Granted, these things aren't going to cool a room, but if you need just a little free breeze --- like I do in my little greenhouse --- these things are ideal.

The fan works under direct sunshine only. And it's so weak that you can't feel anything. I think the CFM is about only 1 or 2. You can't use it to draw hot air out of even just a 3 x 4 restroom.

To my amasement this fan dosen't work unles the sun is out. For cooling purposes its ok if you have a hot area to cool down.

Works only in bright direct sunlight. You barely feel just a little air when it runs. Not worth the cost.

This product was terrible!!! It will not run in even the slightest shaded light and must be placed in unobstructed sunlight. There is no on or off switch and there is no battery for the solar cell to charge to use it in evening hours or dusk conditions. The only time it will come on is when you place it in the middle of the yard with nothing remotely around it!
When running the fan is not sufficient to cool anything. So, I can't really imagine any time this product would be useful for anything. It did not meet my expectations and was in my opinion an overpriced piece of junk.
