Works great November 16, 2006 Ralf Maeder 20 out of 20 found this review helpful
The Sunsei Solar Charger does a great job in maintaining the car's battery full loaded. All the necesary cables are included. In order to use the cigarette lighter for charging with the Solar Charger, you have to check if your cigarette lighter does heat with the car's motor off. If it doesn't, you will have to use the also included cable to connect the charger directly to the car's battery.
Sunsei Solar Charger 135mA (2watt) March 11, 2007 Weldon R. Desouza (DUBAI, United Arab Emirates) 20 out of 20 found this review helpful
EXCELLENT Product !!! I have two of these & a third larger Sunsei solar charger model on my 33' boat. Because my boat is on a swing mooring (i.e. without shore power), these 3 units safetly keep all 3 battries on my boat in optimum condition & fully charged. We get temperatures ranging from 6C to 55C (Centigrade...yes very HOT) here in Dubai & these solar chargers have been working well for the last 2 years. Would highly reccomend them (several of my mates have purchased these as well - great value) !!!
Solar Charger ends "dead battery syndrome" worries November 5, 2006 I. Tominack (Windsor, VA) 15 out of 16 found this review helpful
With all the computerized and electronics in today's cars, there is always a constant draw on the battery. You won't notice a problem until you leave your car at the airport for a few days and discover that the battery won't start the car. This is the fix. Plug it in the cigarette lighter (or power outlet for us non-smokers), and place on the dash. Suction cups provided to attach it to the glass, but don't leave it attached while driving (duh). Some vehicles tend to suffer from "dead battery syndrome" more than others, but with this unit, my Camaro SS and ZO6 Corvette are immune to the problem.
Tractor Battery Maintainer May 25, 2007 B. Green (Boston, MA USA) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
My cousin has a John Deere lawn tractor. Every spring the battery dies and he has to jump start his lawn tractor from his automobile. Sometimes this damages the delicate electronics on the lawn tractor. I just got my lawn tractor last year. A few weeks before the first mow, I placed the Sunsei Solar 2W 12V charger in the garage window and attached it to my lawn tractor battery. The tractor started fine when I needed it. I'll be sending another Sunsei Solar charger to my cousin.
Sunsei Solar 12V Charger works as advertised May 15, 2007 D. Joy (Phoenix, AZ United States) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
My husband parks his truck in the AZ sun for several weeks at a time and this solar charger has kept his battery fully charged each time. No moving parts and simple to install using the cigarette lighter outlet.
