A great magazine for self-reliant living. Neither preachy nor superficial, this gives you a good grounding in how to be self-reliant.

Mother Earth News is one of the best progressive minded magazines around. If anyone thinks this magazine is just for hippies who love nature, than that's fine with me. People who don't read this magazine have no idea how much useful information is packed into every issue. Anyone interested in a subscription, I think it is a great investment. Hopefully more people will start reading this magazine, especially those who used to, so we can get our Mother healthy again.

This is a most refreshing magazine. I had a subscription a while ago and loved it so very much.It's refreshing compared to what is out there today. It reminds me of what wonderful things that the earth itself has to offer us if we just look around us. Yes, I would recommend this highly to to anyone and everyone. If you enjoy life, animals, earth, and life itself, this is the magazine for you. Refreshing and REAL..THANK YOU FOR CONTINUING TO DELIGHT US WITH THIS PURE AND HONEST MAGAZINE.

This is a great magazine! I have it on automatic renewal & it only costs me $10 a year because I choose to renew it this way! What savings on a amazing magazine! Loaded with information. It will take you a long time to read it's so packed! It has everything! Going solar, solar projects, hybrid cars, homesteading, recipes, livestock, reader insight & more! Check out Countryside & small livestock journal (I think that's the full name, I think of it as Countryside) it's great & has a heck of a lot less advertising than Mother. It's a more rugged type of magazine that is simply fantastic. I have a subscription to it as well & am very happy with it. I find that both of these magazines have much to offer!

This magazine is amazing. There is so much information on every page. I am new to organics, kind of, so I am still learning about everything. This magazine is great to have for reference and before you buy a house read it so you don't spend thousands on a regular house when you could build it so much cheaper with alternative methods- that are much prettier too.
