I wanted "bug bulbs" to use indoors during bug season so I could work at night w/out attracting critters. These are perfect! They are so tiny that they fit in all of my fixtures & because they are cfl's I'm saving on my electric bill!

I just wanted some fluorescent bug lights bulbs for my porch, so I chose the cheapest available. No regrets here -- they're no larger than a standard bulb, very bright, and very yellow. I'd guess there are 80%-90% less bugs on my porch now!

These bulbs are very yellow, and much brighter than I expected. In fact, they're brighter than some of my CF white bulbs, but since the light is yellow, it's not too good for indoors. I purchased enough of these to keep my front and back porch lights on all night for extra security without the bugs. I highly recommend these for outdoor lighting if you don't want the bugs to come around.

This is your standard yellow fluorescent bulb. Works great.. it reduced the flying bugs on my porch by at least 95%. I live next to a giant field, so flying insects are always an issue here, especially moths, beetles and mosquitoes. This bulb helped a lot.

What can I say about these bug lights? 13 watts and they seem brighter than the 60 watt bug lights they replaced! We are using these in a resort property atmosphere (multiple bulbs per cottage), so the energy savings and long life will be well worth the price of these bulbs. They are small (hence the Ultra-Mini name). I ordered a bunch and all came in perfect working order, Thanks Amazon & Globe! Highly recommended!!
